Find your Real Self

Most of the times when we meet someone new, we introduce ourselves. We say " I am so and so , I work as ....., I am wife of ,daughter of so and so ....

.Is  this what we are ?.....Do We Know What We Are?. Have we ever questioned ourselves Are we  this or these are mere roles.

Like when I say I am Savita, I am a Psychotherapist..... but then what am I when I am not doing anything .....what was I before i was named Savita .....That was me but the agony is that I have forgotten my real self but added so many attributes real and illusions.

We are so keen to attach our self and learn more about the world outside us that our identity is restricted to what we do outside. Why are we not keen on a journey inward where our true self is waiting to seek your attention towards it and say "YES THIS IS ME"  may be this is the feeling that Siddhartha got and became Buddha. This is enlightenment and self realisation. But alas we are all stuck in the rut of needs and the rat race of achievements that this pure light which could possibly free us from all the darkness is not seen by us and we keep finding for ray of light.

It is these attachments to roles that create food for our ego which takes us more away from the true self. That dose not mean roles have no importance in our lives its just that they should be helpful in bringing us nearer to our soul mission that we are here for in this world and when it is so the path of life becomes easier and smoother then we become instruments to the purpose that the universe has for us so there is no contradiction just attraction of right things on right time.
So it is just about aligning yourself to your soul purpose
